The Mosaic Community Project is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to support and promote education, the visual and performing arts, sustainable living practices, and environmental awareness in Ouray County, Colorado.

Our purpose is to complement local alternative and public schools, support artists and collaborative works of art, establish countywide earth friendly initiatives and awareness campaigns as well as foster cooperative relationships with other community organizations whose missions, or projects, are in concert with ours.

The Mosaic Community Project exists to benefit the communities of Ouray County. The funds raised by MCP will be shared with the community in a variety of ways. Our current and future fundraisers and projects include: ROCC Parking Lot Fundraisers, The Ridgway River Festival, The Big Ideas Project, “Glenda the Blenda” Bike, public works of art, visiting artist workshops and performances, county composting and recycling, community garden support, area cleanups, and planting trees. All of our activities and projects will fall within our mission.

The Mosaic Community Project is a volunteer-based organization without paid employees. Volunteers are our livelihood and are needed for help with fundraising and community projects. Please consider joining the Fundraising or Community Project Committees, and as a working board, we are always looking for additional energetic board members.
