Mosaic Community Project is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to operate with dedication to promote education, the visual and performing arts, sustainable living practices, and environmental awareness in Ouray County, Colorado. Our purpose is to compliment local alternative and public schools, support artists and collaborative works of art, establish county wide earth friendly initiatives and awareness campaigns as well as foster cooperative relationships with other community organizations without discrimination, whose missions, or projects are substantially in concert with ours.

Mosaic Community Project exists to benefit the communities of Ouray County. The funds raised by MCP will be shared with the community in a variety of ways. Our current and future fundraisers and projects include: Spring plant sale and Fall fruit cup sale, Ridgway River Festival, Big Ideas, public works of art, visiting artist workshops and performances, county composting, community garden support, area cleanups, and planting trees. All of our activities and projects will fall within our mission.

Mosaic Community Project is a volunteer-based organization without paid employees. Volunteers are our livelihood and are needed for help with fundraising and community projects. Join the Fundraising or Community Project Committees. As a working board, we are always looking for energetic members.
